Permissibles started with a simple question: why is it so hard to find food made with real ingredients? Everything we cook—from our fried chicken to our cooking fats—is built on the answer.
What made us start
Most fast food is assembled from industrial ingredients designed for shelf stability and profit, not health. Permissibles exists to prove that speed and quality aren't enemies—that you can have both.
The promise we keep
No seed oils, no hydrogenated oils, no artificial colors or flavors, no added sugar, no soy. If you can't pronounce it, we don't use it.
Tallow the restaurant
Inside Fresh Grocer at 1000 Easton Rd in Wyncote, every piece of chicken is fried in 100% grass-fed beef tallow, made from scratch daily.
Bringing it home
Beyond the restaurant, we make grass-fed beef tallow, browned honey butter, and teriyaki sauce — same standards, so you can cook clean at home.
